Just a reminder that our festival is this week.
Grade 7 band students
Grade 7 band students do not have early morning band but still have to be at school by 8:15 and will leave shortly after. Students are to wear their SWS Band shirts, black pants or skirts, black nylons or socks and black shoes. Students are aware that there are no jeans or runners allowed. Part of this festival has a mark for the students dress. Students must bring their instruments and music and will perform Dreamcatcher and Sword Dance at the festival. Students will perform at the Leacock Theater at 9:45 (Not the Bella!) if you wish to come to the performance. Students will be back in time for their regular lunch.
Grade 6 band students
Grade 6 band students will come to their regular homeroom at the start of the day. They will leave at approx. 9:50. Students are to wear their SWS Band shirts, black pants or skirts, black nylons or socks and black shoes. Students are aware that there are no jeans or runners allowed. Part of this festival has a mark for the students dress. Students must bring their instruments and music and will perform selections from their red book and Beethoven’s 9th. Students will perform at the Leacock Theater at 11:15 (Not the Bella!) if you wish to come to the performance. Students will not be back in time for their regular lunch. They will need a brown bag lunch that day and will be provided a space and time to eat it.
