If you are a Safeway, Sobey’s, or Co-op shopper, and would like to earn some cash to offset your student’s band fees and trip expenses, join the SWS Band Association grocery card fundraiser.
When we purchase Safeway, Sobeys, and Co-op gift cards in bulk, the stores provide a rebate back to the band, which we deposit into your student’s band account. You can use the funds to refund activity fees, instrument fees, and off-set band trip expenses.
The gift cards are accepted at each grocer as cash, and do not expire. At Co-op, the gift cards can also be used at their gas bars, and to purchase gift cards for restaurants, movies, Google, iTunes, and more.
Last month, Sobeys/Safeway gave us a 6% rebate for every $100 in gift cards purchased, and Co-op gave 9% for every $100 in gift cards purchased.
