The grade 8/9 SWS band will be performing during tomorrow’s Remembrance Day ceremony.
As this is a solemn event, we fully expect that all band students will be appropriately attired in their band uniform: black pants/skirt, black socks/tights, black shoes, and SWS Music Program shirt. If the student is part of a Cadet, Scouts, or Guides group, they are welcome to wear their group uniform instead.
New students that have not yet received their band shirts have been provided a temporary shirt, which they need to return to the band room after the performance.
Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the performance. Plan for an arrival no later than 10:15 am in order to get seats before students begin filing into the gym. The ceremony is expected to start at 10:30 am.
