If your student will be in grade 7, 8 or 9 band next year and you wish to rent an instrument from the CBE, then clear your schedule, mark your calendars, and set your fastest running shoes by the door: May 1st and 2nd, from 6:30 pm until 8 pm each night in the SWS Learning Commons, will be INSTRUMENT RESERVATION for 2018/2019 (dun dun dun).
We have a limited number of CBE instruments for rent, and once the CBE instruments have all been spoken for you will need to rent privately from Long and McQuade, therefore you MUST reserve your instrument in advance on one of these two reservation days if you wish to rent from the school.
FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
Post-dated cheques in the amount of $100 for the 2018/2019 school year MUST be provided in order to confirm your reservation. Reminder: Percussionists also need to pay the instrument rental fee.
That’s the end of the “Must-Do” list for this particular event. Things that you could do but don’t necessary have to include bringing pizza or cake—whatever kind, we’re not picky— for the parent volunteers, updating us on the score of whichever NHL playoff game we’re missing that night, telling us your secret on how you stay looking so young, etc etc. Just throwing those out there.
