The SWS Concert Bands would like to extend an invitation to all SWS, Janet Johnstone, Somerset and Bridlewood school families to attend our family picnic and outdoor concert, on Thursday, May 31st. The weather is looking very promising, and we are hoping to see you there.
Students are to go home after school, as there will be no supervision provided. They can return as early as 5 pm, but need to be back at the school no later than 6:30 pm for warm-up.

Any changes or updates on this event will be posted on our blog at swsmusicblog.wordpress.com. Should the weather be uncooperative, seating will be made available in the school for your dining pleasure, and the concert itself will be held in the gym.

Just bring your instrument and we will add you to the group! All interested parties will be invited up to the stage at the end of the grade 8/9 regular set, and be given a bit of time to warm up before playing-there will be no formal practice ahead of time. Please contact Ms. Bolen at jcbolen@cbe.ab.ca and she will ensure you have a seat and send you the music ahead of time.
