While we assume there is a sun hiding behind the DENSE CLOUDS and POURING RAIN, we are secure in the knowledge that it will not come out in time to dry the grounds and warm our limbs before tonight’s concert. Therefore, we are moving everything (but the food trucks) indoors. This is annoying primarily because we spent a long time flat-ironing our hair this morning, and now it is frizzy again anyway.
The student schedule and performance schedule that was e-mailed earlier today remains the same: students are to go home after school today, as there will be no supervision provided.
They can return as early as 5 pm to have dinner from the food trucks, but MUST be back no later than 6:30 pm for warm-up.
All families and friends are invited to dine at the food trucks between 5 pm and 7 pm; food trucks will be set up at the south end of the school, near the community rink. Tables and seating will be set up in the school gathering space for your comfort and to enhance your dining experience.
The silent auction table will be set up at the back of the gym, and a photo booth for some candid snaps will be set up near the Learning Commons.
Anyone wishing to join the grade 8/9 band after their regular set is still welcome to do so.
