The students on the Banff trip have had a busy day, with a four and a half hour session with Guest Conductor Brian Usic, who really enjoyed working with the students and called them “fine young musicians”.
Yesterday’s Jazz History workshop with Tyler Hornsby was also extremely successful and described as “fantastic”.
Tonight’s dinner plans changed slightly from the itinerary: it will be held at The Meatball, which is beside the restaurant that had originally been booked. Next up is bowling and tours of the Banff Springs Hotel. Lots more to still see and do for tomorrow!
