The instrument request packets went out in the mail a couple of weeks ago for incoming grade 6 and 7 band students. I understand that the mail has been slow but you should hopefully receive your packet this coming week if you haven’t already. If you have any questions or don’t receive it by the end of next week please email me and let me know.
For those of you going into band in grade 8 or 9, you should have received an email from me about whether or not you’ll be renting your instrument through the school in the fall. If I haven’t heard from you I’m assuming that you’re acquiring an instrument from elsewhere or you already have one.
Lastly, in the past the instrument rental fee was payable by e-transfer to the band, or through the school. This coming year all fees will be done through the school. If you are renting an instrument through the school the fee will be on powerschool with your other fees in the fall. You don’t have to worry about paying for it now to reserve your instrument.
