The music program is always in need of volunteers!  In a normal year, we have between 12 and 15 field trips, organize two concerts for 400 to 500 people, hand out over 3000 pieces of music, and much more…in short, we always need help!

From time to time Mrs. Smith and/or the SWSBA sends out requests for volunteers and we ask you to please carefully consider if you can help out or not.  Many hands make light work…and few hands doing all the work makes for serious volunteer burnout.

CBE security clearance is required for volunteer chaperones and those working in direct contact with students or funds.  Unfortunately, clearances obtained through other volunteer organizations such as hockey or religious organizations are not transferable to the CBE.

However, there are lots of ways you can help without requiring  CBE clearance: providing a breakfast snack for early morning band, assisting with the Winter or Spring Concerts, helping with band camp organization, and much more.

If you have obtained clearance through another CBE school within the past 5 years, it is a simple matter to add your name to the SWS database–see instructions below.
